The Murder Mouse Blues Band opened the Bridgetown Blues Festival at the Festival club, and headlined at the Freemason's Hotel on Saturday night only after a matinee show which was literally packed to the rafters at the Bridgetown Hotel

The Thirst the Hunger and the Horn was featured across all RTR programming starting November 28th. RTR FM is the premier independent radio station in Australia and some say the world, operating out of the cultural centre of the Mt Lawley precint in Perth. "The Thirst" album showcases the highly eclectic and bizarre influences currently holding Murder Mouse's attention and pre-release reviews have described the album as the best Australian blues and roots album in two decades, a riveting follow up to their highly original and award winning first album Fill the Hole.

Murder Mouse will be headlining the Blues and Roots nights of the 10 Day Music Festival which is Singapore's biggest celebration of international music. Previous years headliners include K.D Lang, Buddy Guy and The Duke Ellington Orchestra.

The Murder Mouse Blues Band is one of the premier Australian blues folk rock outfits in Oz today. Founded in 2008 by Adam Morris, author and singer songwriting juggernaut, Murder Mouse has quickly become a national force in Australian music. Australian national radio station Triple J's unearth competition has recently charted The Murder Mouse Blues Band as the number 1 roots band for the entire competition. The unearth comp is contested by over 20,000 bands nation wide.
